When space and weight is at a premium and you need reliable portable power from your outboard engine, Mercury offer a range of extremely light and robust four stroke outboard engines, including the 20hp model which is available in short or long shaft versions.

Simple to install and lightweight, the Mercury 20hp outboard is an ideal entry point for powering our Open RIB range. Weighing just 45kg, the Mercury F20M is a perfect outboard engine for our OP30 or OP33 RIBs.

The Mercury 20hp outboard engine is a stock item and typically available for same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm.

Price includes Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) but does not include delivery or fitting.

The Mercury 5 Year warranty on this 20hp Mercury outboard motor begins on completion of the Customer Warranty Registration.

Less weight, more torque

A new low-friction, single overhead cam powerhead on the 20hp delivers greater torque. Meanwhile, overall weight has been reduced by 4.5kg - a significant reduction that makes a big difference on RIBs and Inflatable Boats. These are the quickest and strongest outboards in the category.

Easy, reliable starting

The 20hp FourStroke Electric Fuel Injection (EFI) system doesn't require a battery for rope pull starting. EFI also produces easy starts - hot or cold - and outstanding fuel efficiency. The 20hp self adjusts to deliver peak performance according to weather and elevation. And most maintenance issues related to modern fuels are eliminated by the pressurised fuel system. Throttle response is always crisp.
