OUR STORY

FROM THE RIVER DART
TO FIVE CONTINENTS
Born in 2024, Storm Marine designs high performance RIBs for those that share a love of the sea and demand the best. But the story goes way back.
Service at sea began for our founder in 2000 when commissioning as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy. He quickly moved to sea on operations - on Frigates and Minehunters before spending time at the Defence Diving School and diving teams.
More recently, service has been in green - as an officer in the British Army, Adrian has served with Land Special Operations Force, deploying forward on multiple operations in recent years.
This experience across two services and three decades has shaped who were are, the RIBs we build and the service we offer our customers.
When operating at the limits, there’s no place for cutting corners or accepting anything but excellence - we carry this ethos through to every single RIB we sell to our customers.
THE BEST RIBS ARE
THOSE USED THE MOST AND LAST THE LONGEST
Time spent on Seariders, Pacifics and Geminis taught us that the best boats are those that are used the most and last the longest. And in 2024, a desire to bring the very best leisure inflatables and inshore RIBs is born.
The ask - to produce craft with the longevity and quality demanded in the military, whilst still being smart enough for a tender garage or bathing platform.
This is why we use Hypalon for all of our RIBs - in any given environment it’s tougher than cheaper alternatives and you won’t find PVC on any of our craft.
This ties into an important sustainability mission - we strive to build better boats for our users and our ocean.
In a world of throw away, we no longer see an ‘away'. We aim to build longer lasting boats - born for the sea, made for a lifetime.

FORM AND FUNCTION
EVERYTHING HAS PURPOSE
We build RIBs and Inflatables where everything has a purpose and nothing is left to chance. Where the best materials are combined with layouts and specifications that have been shaped by decades on the water.
The detail matters - whether it's the precise location of a grab handle or lifeline, the best position for a top mount throttle or the easiest chartplotter to see, use and adjust in heavy seas and fading light - our specifications are chosen wisely.
This culminates in RIB boats and inflatables that we love to use ourselves and are proud to sell to others. And it's why we put the industry's longest warranty on our boats, from bow to stern.
