TRADE IN

best places to launch a rib boat

FOR THOSE THAT LOVE THE SEA

And demand the best

BETTER FOR YOU

BETTER FOR THE PLANET

We'd prefer to breathe new life into old inflatable boats than see them dumped in landfill, lie in a yard or sit unused on a driveway. That's what our Trade In, Repair and Resell service is designed to avoid - it's circularity made simple, and far better for the planet.

TRADE IN

Repair and Resell

We take older inflatables and RIBs as trade in against new Storm RIBs and inflatable boats. Once in stock, our skilled team will ensure that part exchange craft are fully refurbished, repaired where necessary and prepared for new ownership with a fresh lease of life. We will either sell stock directly or place on brokerage with partner businesses.

PART EXCHANGE

VALUATION

Please provide as much information about the RIB or inflatable that you are looking to trade in.

WHEN BEYOND REPAIR

WE RECYCLE

When trade in boats are assessed as beyond repair, we facilitate recycling of the product - from PVC tubes that are turned into powder and then shaped into plastic pellets for reuse, through to ferrous metal items such as stainless steel A frames that can be recycled many times over.

In cases of boats being beyond repair, we will offer a nominal recycle fee for the boat.

TRADE IN

CRITERIA

The minimum criteria for trade in boats to receive an appropriate part exchange offer is a seaworthy craft that is airtight, watertight and safe to proceed to sea. Engines must be running and without major fault.

The craft you're trading in must be of lesser value than the Storm inflatable or RIB you're seeking to buy and we reserve the right to decline part exchange craft for any reason.

TRADE IN

VALUATIONS

Valuations will typically sit somewhere between trade and retail pricing, but all part exchanges are assessed on a case by case basis. Part exchange craft must be of lessor value than the Storm RIB or inflatable you are looking to purchase.
