The mission to the Mercury engineers was - design and make the most reliable 150hp FourStroke engine in the industry. To do that, they started with a strong 3 litre block capable of producing more than 250hp and asked it to deliver only 150hp. Doing so greatly increases the powerhead's long term durability.

Add to this class leading displacement engine a robust gearcase and nearly 10,000 hours of engineering and field testing, then back it all up with an industry leading limited 5 year factory backed warranty, you can see why their mission could be considered accomplished.

Additionally, it's small, compact design makes it a perfect fit for a wide range of boating applications. All this, and it still weighs in at a light, fuel saving 206kg. 

The Mercury 150hp outboard engine is not typically a stock item and is available for delivery within 3 to 4 business days.

Price includes Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) but does not include delivery or fitting.

The Mercury 5 Year warranty on this 150hp Mercury outboard motor begins on completion of the Customer Warranty Registration.
